FAQ

We’re on this journey together.  I am a fellow student, not an expert or theologian, in all areas of Biblical study and the Hebraic roots of our faith.  I study, learn, and grow daily in order to get wisdom and understanding (Prov 4:7).  Many of the questions you may be asking yourself are questions I’ve already struggled with and found some answers.  This collection of answers is not meant to be authoritative and exhaustive, but simply a pragmatic approach to dealing with some common questions and issues related to walking in the faith of Yeshuah.

I encourage you to seek out more detailed and theological answers to satisfy your own thirst for knowledge so that by getting wisdom you too can gain deeper understanding.  However, research carefully under the guidance of the Holy Spirit so that you may discern the truth from lies.  Do not rely on single sources of information, but verify facts against multiple sources and most especially YHWH’s Word.

You are welcome to submit new FAQ topics via our ‘contact’ page.  I will do my best to respond in a timely manner and post the response on this page as well.

The Torah is comprised of the first five books of the Tanakh (the Hebrew Bible), also known as the five books of Moses.

D’ Varim (Deuteronomy)What is the Haftarah?

The Haftarah is the selection chosen from among the prophetic books (the Nevi’im) to be read during the Shabbat service.
What is the B’rit Chadashah?

The B’rit Chadashah means “New Covenant” and in the Messianic faith names the collection of books commonly known to most everyone as the New Testament.
